Event Name: L3: Constraining visibility and optimizing line of sight
Location: Online
Date(s): Oct-20
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. (ET)
Price: Free
Description:
This class walks you through the process of using STK's powerful AzEl Mask tool to create a body mask (BMSK) file and constrain visibility calculations using it. You will also learn how to visualize the body mask in 3D.
Body masking refers to line of sight obstruction caused by the three dimensional model of the parent object of the sensor or other objects in the scenario. The AzEl Mask tool generates static body masking files (.bmsk) which are used to restrict visibility to a sensor.
