Event Name: L3: Modeling a multi-domain hypersonic mission
Location: Online
Date(s): Jan-21
Time: 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (ET)
Price: Free
Description:

Learn how to model a multi-domain hypersonic mission using a digital mission engineering (DME) ecosystem of software tools. This lesson will focus on Systems Tool Kit (STK), but will also demonstrate how applications such as ModelCenter, ANSYS, and others fit into the DME ecosystem.

In this lesson you will:
  1. Connect the mission environment to the digital thread by recreating a hypersonic test flight from detailed engineering analysis.
  2. Use thermal analysis to test whether an EOIR sensor can detect the vehicle at hypersonic speeds.
  3. Evaluate how components interact with each other within a digital system model by evaluating the response time for detecting and tracking the hypersonic vehicle.
  4. Explore an optimized, constellation design trade-space by varying design parameters of the system and evaluating their impacts on the mission objectives and system requirements.

Engineers will be on hand to answer your questions live.
