In this lesson, an aircraft leaves an airbase in Spain and flies to an airbase in Italy. The radar site at the Italian airbase is employing a new multifunction radar (MFR), which will track the aircraft while accounting for local terrain. Using STK Radar and Analyzer, you will determine how gain, signal to noise ratio (SNR), and pulse integration affect the MFR’s ability to track the aircraft.
