Event Name: L2: Intro to Modeling Aircraft Missions with STK Aviator
Location: Online
Date(s): Mar-27
Time: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. (ET)
Price: Free
Description:
Learn how STK can help you model real-world aircraft performance and determine how atmospheric phenomena and terrain affect the performance of an airborne mission. In this class, you will use STK's Aviator capability to design a cross country flight route. You will use the Aviator Catalog Manager to load airfield runway data into the scenario for takeoff and landing procedures. You will also load Navigational Aids (NAVAIDs) to simulate physical devices on the ground that aircraft can detect and fly to.
Upon completion of class, you will understand how to:
- Use the Aviator Catalog Manager
- Use the Aviator Propagator and Tools
- How to create Analytical Objects from the Aviator Catalog Manager and Aviator
- Use selected Data Providers to determine payload requirements and how much fuel is consumed during the flight
Follow along on your computer as an instructor walks you through this focused STK lesson. AGI engineers will be available during the session to answer your questions live.
Comments:
You can use STK Cloud, a web-based version of STK, to follow along with the instructor for this class. There is nothing to download in advance with STK Cloud. It does not require a license or software install.
