Description:
Join us for the 2026 RF & Antenna Simulation Training Series. You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions.
This course introduces the fundamentals of RF simulation and antenna modeling in HFSS. We will begin with geometry creation, port definitions, and boundary condition setup. We will then move into radiation modeling and S-parameter interpretation. Designed as an entry-level course, this training provides the core workflow knowledge required to confidently build, simulate, and evaluate RF structures and antennas
The core content for this class is:
- Geometry creation and parameterization
- Port types (lumped, wave, modal, terminal)
- Boundary conditions and radiation setup
- Radiating vs. non-radiating structures
- Basic antenna simulation workflow
- S-parameters and field interpretation
This course is designed to get new users operational in HFSS quickly and correctly.
